Compassionate Courage
An intervention approach that ensures systemic change and reduces divisions caused by identity-based conflicts.
“Ushering in Change, One Community at a Time.”
Compassionate Courage was conceptualized in the Spring 2021 and was officially launched in May of the same year. Changing the world, a person at a time is still relevant, honest, and a humble approach. Yet, we have all realized that that while the problems we deal with have become more complex, positive change is happening very slowly. Compassionate Courage uses systems thinking to invite the community to jointly act to transform conflict situations by taking responsibility for our words and actions. We particularly call out to those of you who identify as leaders in your community to join us in ushering systemic change.
We invite you to join us in our journey to becoming more compassionate and courageous. If you are looking for inspiration, join us in our events,, access our resources, or reach out to us for an exchange of ideas. Compassionate Courage founder, Dr. Pushpa Iyer, is available for training and speaking engagements. To contact us, visit this page.
Our vision is to create a world with fewer divisions and more connections.
Our Mission is to help individuals become more compassionate and courageous enough to hear each other across divided lines.
Our objectives are to (a) provide tools, skills and resources that can facilitate the process of building compassion and courage (b) facilitate spaces for individuals and communities to interact and break barriers.
